Founded by Jossy Eyre in 1989, Women’s Bean Project is a nonprofit social enterprise based in Colorado that empowers women to achieve independence and self-sufficiency. The organization provides job training and employment opportunities, allowing women to experience work while learning the skills needed to secure and maintain long-term employment. Through this model, Women’s Bean Project supports women in creating lasting, positive change in their lives.
In our store, we carry a variety of Women’s Bean Project products, with the snickerdoodle mix being especially popular among customers. In addition to baking mixes, we also offer a selection of their soup and chili mixes, providing customers with a range of high-quality, socially impactful food products.
Women's Bean Project also partners with Wagster, a fellow nonprofit employing low-income and homeless adults through a culinary training program, to produce vegan and gluten-free dog treats. They’re made from only six natural ingredients, and are packaged fresh by women in the Women’s Bean Project program.
